Overview: The Mid-Continent Public Library is a public library system serving the Kansas City metropolitan area. The construction of a new flagship location in Lee's Summit, Missouri required the efforts of a skilled team of subcontractors, including Whitley Construction.

Scope of Work: As a critical path contractor, the drywall scope played a critical role in the construction of the new Mid-Continent Public Library. The scope of work included the exterior wall layout, framing, insulation and sheathing, installation of drywall for the interior walls and ceilings throughout the facility, as well as the finishing of the drywall. The subcontractor worked closely with JE Dunn Construction and other trades to ensure a seamless installation and finish.
